Best Mid-Size SUVs With Wireless Charging Under Rs 15 Lakh in India (2026)

Best Mid-Size SUVs With Wireless Charging Under Rs 15 Lakh in India (2026)

The test is the price of the cheapest variant that has the charger, not the model's starting price. The Hyundai Creta fits it from the SX at Rs 15,04,400, so it misses, as do the Tata Sierra and Harrier. The Maruti Victoris is the only one whose brochure specifies active cooling for the pad and the only one with a qualifying CNG variant, though its 5-star Bharat NCAP rating does not cover the S-CNG. The Grand Vitara Zeta adds ventilated seats but has no crash rating. Seltos, Elevate and Hyryder variant prices could not be read from the makers.

Five mid-size SUVs have a factory wireless phone charger on a variant we could price below Rs 15 lakh from the manufacturer's own list. The Volkswagen Taigun Highline is the cheapest at Rs 12,99,900 and the only one that offers it with an automatic under the ceiling. The Maruti Victoris ZXI follows at Rs 13,61,900, then the Maruti Grand Vitara Zeta at Rs 13,85,000, the Tata Curvv Accomplished X at Rs 13,99,990 and the MG Hector Select Pro at Rs 14,94,800.

The Hyundai Creta misses by Rs 4,400. Its brochure fits the wireless charger from the SX, and the cheapest SX is Rs 15,04,400.

Prices are ex-showroom, read from each manufacturer's own price list on 13 October 2026. Maruti prices are Delhi figures for single-tone paint, and dual-tone paint adds Rs 15,400. Tata's site prices by city and was read at its default location.

How this list was built, and what was not verified

One rule decided every row. The maker's brochure or variant list has to show a wireless charger on a named variant, and the maker's price list has to put that variant under Rs 15 lakh. A model whose range merely starts under Rs 15 lakh does not count, since no SUV here fits a wireless charger to its base trim.

Three popular SUVs fail the price test, with the maker's own numbers:

SUVFirst variant with a wireless chargerPrice
Hyundai CretaSX 1.5 petrol manualRs 15,04,400
Tata SierraAdventure + L petrolRs 16,99,000
Tata HarrierFearless XRs 20,24,990

Four more have the feature on a mid-range variant, but the maker does not publish that variant's price where we could read it, so they are not ranked:

  • Kia Seltos: Kia's variant list adds a smartphone wireless charger at the HTK(O). The site gives a range of Rs 11,24,900 to Rs 21,56,900 and no HTK(O) figure.
  • Honda Elevate: the brochure fits a wireless smartphone charger from the VX, the third of six variants. Honda shows a starting price of Rs 11,80,000 and quotes the rest by city.
  • Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder: the brochure ticks "Wireless Charger (Front)" for the E CNG G, the NeoDrive G(O) and V, and the Hybrid G(O) and V. Toyota publishes no ex-showroom prices.
  • Renault Duster: we could not find a wireless charger line in the brochure text, and Renault's site showed only a starting price of Rs 10,49,000.

The Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor and Nissan Tekton were not checked. The Grand Vitara Zeta CNG at Rs 14,65,000 is not counted, because the main Grand Vitara brochure does not cover the S-CNG equipment list. Automatic and diesel prices for the Curvv were not read.

The five in detail

1. Volkswagen Taigun Highline, from Rs 12,99,900

Volkswagen's brochure marks "Wireless mobile charging" on every Taigun except the base Comfortline. Four of those variants are under Rs 15 lakh:

VariantPrice
Highline 1.0 TSI manualRs 12,99,900
Highline 1.0 TSI automaticRs 14,09,900
Highline Plus 1.0 TSI manualRs 14,41,900
GT Line 1.0 TSI manualRs 14,71,900

The Highline automatic is the only confirmed way to get a wireless charger and a two-pedal car in this class for under Rs 15 lakh. The 1.0 TSI makes 115 PS and 178 Nm, and Volkswagen claims 19.98 km/l for the manual and 19.54 km/l for the automatic.

The Highline itself is plainly equipped. It has no sunroof, and the 20.32 cm digital cockpit and the electric sunroof both wait for the Highline Plus. Boot space is 385 litres.

2. Maruti Victoris ZXI, from Rs 13,61,900

The Victoris brochure calls it a "Wireless Charger with Active Cooling" and fits it from the ZXI upward. The LXI and VXI do not have it. Three variants qualify: the ZXI manual at Rs 13,61,900, the ZXI(O) manual at Rs 13,69,000, which adds the panoramic sunroof for Rs 7,100, and the ZXI CNG at Rs 14,66,900. The ZXI automatic is Rs 15,17,900.

A phone warms up while charging wirelessly and slows its own charge rate when it gets hot, so a pad that cools the phone is the more useful version of the feature in an Indian summer.

That makes the Victoris the only SUV in the table with a wireless charger on a CNG variant. Two cautions on the CNG, though. It makes 87.8 PS against the petrol's 103.06 PS, and the Victoris's 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, 31.66 out of 32 for adults and 43 out of 49 for children, covers the petrol and strong hybrid variants but not the S-CNG. Claimed economy is 21.18 km/l for the petrol manual and 27.02 km/kg on CNG.

The ZXI also brings a powered tailgate with gesture control, LED projector headlamps, cruise control and a 10.25-inch digital cluster. Ventilated seats, the head-up display and the 360-degree camera are kept for the ZXI+, which starts at Rs 15,38,900.

3. Maruti Grand Vitara Zeta, from Rs 13,85,000

The Grand Vitara brochure ticks the wireless charger for the Zeta, the Alpha and the strong hybrid Zeta+ and Alpha+. The Sigma, Delta and Delta+ go without. Under Rs 15 lakh that leaves the Zeta manual at Rs 13,85,000 and the Zeta(O) manual, with the panoramic sunroof, at Rs 13,89,100. The Zeta automatic is Rs 15,20,000.

The Zeta is the better-equipped Maruti at this price. It has ventilated front seats, which the Victoris holds back for the ZXI+, plus Auto Purify with a PM2.5 display and the 22.86 cm SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen. The brochure does not mention active cooling for its pad.

What it lacks is a crash rating. The Grand Vitara has not been rated by Bharat NCAP, and no variant offers ADAS. The head-up display, 360 view camera and powered driver's seat are on the Alpha. The 1.5 petrol makes 103.06 PS and 139 Nm and claims 21.11 km/l.

4. Tata Curvv Accomplished X, Rs 13,99,990

Tata lists the "Wireless smartphone Charger" from the Accomplished X. The Creative X+ below it, at Rs 12,90,990, has the panoramic sunroof but not the charger, so the charger costs Rs 1.09 lakh more than the roof on this car.

The Accomplished X bundles a lot with it: the AeroView panoramic sunroof and ventilated front seats are on the same variant. The Curvv is 5-star rated by Bharat NCAP at 29.50 out of 32 for adults and 43.66 out of 49 for children, and Tata's brochure quotes a 500-litre boot. Tata does not print a certified mileage figure.

5. MG Hector Select Pro, Rs 14,94,800

MG's brochure marks the wireless charger on every Hector above the base Style, and the Select Pro manual at Rs 14,94,800 is the first. The dual pane panoramic sunroof arrives on the same trim.

The Hector is 4,699 mm long, a full size up from the other four, so this is the pick if cabin room matters most. It clears the ceiling by only Rs 5,200, and every other Hector with the charger is above Rs 15 lakh, starting with the Smart Pro manual at Rs 15,94,800.

Picking between them

For an automatic, the Taigun Highline, because nothing else here offers one with the charger under Rs 15 lakh. For CNG, the Victoris ZXI CNG, with the crash-rating caveat above.

For the most equipment around the charger, compare the Grand Vitara Zeta at Rs 13,85,000 with the Curvv Accomplished X at Rs 13,99,990. Both have ventilated seats. The Curvv includes the panoramic roof and a crash rating; the Grand Vitara needs the Zeta(O) for the roof, which still leaves it Rs 10,890 cheaper.

If you would rather spend less on a smaller car, wireless charging starts below Rs 10 lakh on compact SUVs. Our list of SUVs under Rs 14 lakh with wireless charging covers those, and the wider guide to SUVs with wireless phone charging covers the cars above this budget.
