Best Mid-Size SUVs With ADAS and a Panoramic Sunroof in India (2026)

Best Mid-Size SUVs With ADAS and a Panoramic Sunroof in India (2026)

The ADAS variant and the panoramic sunroof variant are usually different trims, so the only price that matters is the one variant carrying both. On the Maruti Victoris the cheapest ADAS variant, the ZXI+ 6AT at Rs 17,33,900, has no sunroof at all; the ZXI+(O) 6AT at Rs 17,43,000 is the cheapest with both. The Hyundai Creta is the exception, because its King trim brings SmartSense and the panoramic roof together at Rs 17,27,800. Adaptive cruise control needs an automatic on the Creta, Victoris and Tekton.

Six mid-size SUVs sell a single variant that has both a Level 2 ADAS suite and a panoramic sunroof. The cheapest is the MG Astor Savvy Pro CVT at Rs 15,30,100, then the Nissan Tekton Tekna at Rs 15,39,000, the Renault Duster iconic at Rs 16,99,000, the Hyundai Creta King at Rs 17,27,800, the Maruti Victoris ZXI+(O) 6AT at Rs 17,43,000 and the Tata Sierra Accomplished at Rs 17,99,000.

This is not a sunroof list with an ADAS column bolted on. The two features usually live on different variants: a panoramic roof arrives in the middle of the range, driver assistance waits for the top. On three cars here the gap is more than Rs 3 lakh, and on the Maruti Victoris the cheapest ADAS variant has no sunroof at all. The only number worth quoting is the price of the one variant that carries both.

The cheapest variant with both, on each mid-size SUV

Prices are ex-showroom and were read from each manufacturer's own price page or variant list on 15 October 2026. The Maruti figures are the Delhi single-tone prices from Maruti's price feed; dual-tone paint adds Rs 15,400 and takes the ZXI+(O) 6AT to Rs 17,58,400. Tata prices by city and was read at its default location, petrol manual only.

Why the ADAS variant is often not the sunroof variant

The Victoris is the sharpest case. Maruti's feature grid puts the panoramic sunroof against the (O) versions of the ZXI and ZXI+ and nowhere else, and marks every ADAS row, from adaptive cruise control to blind spot monitor, with "6AT" in the ZXI+ column. The ZXI+ 6AT at Rs 17,33,900 is therefore the cheapest Victoris with driver assistance, and it has a metal roof. The ZXI+(O) 6AT at Rs 17,43,000 is the cheapest with both. Rs 9,100 is a small premium, but a buyer reading only the ADAS price would order the wrong car.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO, a class below, makes the same split cost real money: Level 2 ADAS appears on the AX5L with a single pane sunroof from Rs 12,02,500, and the panoramic Skyroof with ADAS needs the AX7L, from Rs 13,32,500. The Thar Roxx repeats it, AX5L for the single pane roof and AX7L for the Skyroof.

On the other cars the gap is between trims rather than roof types. The Creta is the cleanest, because the King trim that brings Hyundai SmartSense already has the voice-enabled panoramic roof. The Astor and the Duster are the opposite: the roof is available Rs 2.90 lakh and Rs 4.00 lakh below the variant that adds driver assistance.

If you want a manual with working adaptive cruise, the Astor and the Victoris are out, and the Creta King manual gives you lane keeping and collision avoidance but ordinary cruise control. The cheapest car here with the whole suite active is the Astor Savvy Pro, because MG sells that variant only as a CVT.

The six in detail

1. MG Astor Savvy Pro, Rs 15,30,100

The cheapest route to both features, by Rs 8,900. MG puts the panoramic Skyroof on the Select at Rs 12,40,100 and holds the 14-function Level 2 pack back for the Savvy Pro, sold only with the 8-step CVT. Ventilated seats, a wireless charger and an auto-dimming mirror come with it. The Astor's weakness is paperwork rather than equipment: it does not appear in Bharat NCAP's published results, so there is no Indian crash score to read.

2. Nissan Tekton Tekna, Rs 15,39,000

The newest car here and the only one where both features land on a manual at this price. Nissan's variant walk adds the electric panoramic sunroof at the N-Connecta, Rs 13,69,000, and the 15-function ADAS pack at the Tekna. The brochure marks adaptive cruise control with stop and go as DCT only, so the Rs 15,39,000 manual gets emergency braking, lane keeping, blind spot warning and high beam assist without the adaptive cruise.

That price is for the T160 engine, 100 PS and 166 Nm; the T280 makes 163 PS and 280 Nm. Bharat NCAP gives the Tekton 30.49 out of 32 and 45 out of 49.

3. Renault Duster iconic, Rs 16,99,000

Mechanically the Tekton's close relative, and Rs 1.60 lakh dearer for the same pair of features. Renault's brochure introduces the electric panoramic sunroof at the adventure trim, Rs 12,99,000, and the 17-system assistance suite at the iconic, which also brings powered and ventilated front seats and Google built-in.

Renault does not say whether the stop and go function works with the manual or only the DCT, and its site lists only each trim's starting price. Bharat NCAP rates the Duster 30.49 out of 32 and 45 out of 49.

4. Hyundai Creta King, Rs 17,27,800

The widest choice of engines and gearboxes here. Hyundai confines SmartSense to the King, King Knight and Lounge Edition columns, all of which carry the voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, so the King manual is both the ADAS variant and the both-features variant.

Smart Cruise Control with stop and go carries an asterisk reading "IVT/AT/DCT only", which puts the full suite at Rs 18,68,800 for the petrol IVT, Rs 19,77,800 for the diesel automatic and Rs 19,91,300 for the turbo petrol DCT. The 1.5 petrol makes 84.4 kW (115 PS) and 143.8 Nm, the diesel 85 kW (116 PS) and 250 Nm, the turbo petrol 117.5 kW (160 PS) and 253 Nm. Hyundai publishes no certified mileage, and the Creta has no Bharat NCAP result.

5. Maruti Victoris ZXI+(O) 6AT, Rs 17,43,000

The only car here that also offers all-wheel drive with both features, and the only one that makes you read the variant code carefully. The ADAS block, which runs to adaptive cruise with all speed following, lane keep assist, lane departure prevention and warning, blind spot monitor, lane change alert, high beam assist and collision emergency braking for cars and motorcycles, is marked 6AT in the ZXI+ column. The panoramic sunroof is marked (O). That leaves the ZXI+(O) 6AT at Rs 17,43,000 and the AllGrip ZXI+(O) 4WD at Rs 19,26,900.

The 1.5-litre K15C petrol makes 75.8 kW (103.06 PS) and 139 Nm, and Maruti claims 21.06 km/l for the 6AT and 19.07 km/l for the AllGrip. What you give up is the hybrid: the 28.65 km/l strong hybrid uses an e-CVT and gets ordinary cruise control at every price, including the range-topping ZXI+(O) strong hybrid at Rs 19,98,900. The S-CNG has neither the roof nor the suite. The Victoris holds the best crash result of the six, 31.66 out of 32 and 43 out of 49 at Bharat NCAP, covering the petrol and hybrid variants but not the S-CNG.

6. Tata Sierra Accomplished, Rs 17,99,000

The dearest of the six and the one with the most ADAS functions listed, 13 by Tata's count, plus a head-up display and a 12-speaker JBL system. The Panoramax voice-assisted roof arrives much earlier, on the Pure L (O) at Rs 14,29,000, and is restated on the Adventure+ at Rs 16,14,000. Tata's variant card does not say whether the Accomplished manual gets adaptive cruise or whether that waits for an automatic, which is the question to put to a dealer. The Sierra's Bharat NCAP result is 31.14 out of 32 and 44.73 out of 49.

A size up: the Harrier and the Hector

The Tata Harrier adds the voice-assisted panoramic sunroof at the Pure X, Rs 16,39,990, and ADAS with adaptive cruise plus 12 other functions at the Adventure X+, Rs 17,59,990, with adaptive cruise in the automatic only. At 4,605 mm it is a far bigger car for about Rs 17,000 more than the Victoris. The Safari and Harrier pair scores 30.08 out of 32 and 44.54 out of 49 at Bharat NCAP.

The MG Hector fits the dual pane panoramic sunroof to everything above the base Style, from Rs 14,94,800, but reserves the Autonomous Level 2 pack for the Savvy Pro CVT at Rs 19,64,800. That is the dearest qualifying variant on this page, and the Hector has no Bharat NCAP result.

Offered, but not ranked here

  • Kia Seltos. The dual pane panoramic sunroof starts at the HTK (O) and the 21-function ADAS pack at the HTX (A), which is the qualifying variant. Kia publishes Rs 11,24,900 for the HTE and Rs 21,56,900 for the X-Line (O) and nothing in between. It has the highest adult score of any SUV tested by Bharat NCAP, 31.70 out of 32.
  • Tata Curvv. ADAS is on the Accomplished X+ with the DCA gearbox, and the panoramic roof starts at the Creative X+, Rs 12,90,990. Tata's price list stops at the Accomplished X, Rs 13,99,990.
  • Honda Elevate. Honda Sensing is on the ZX, ZX+ and ZX+ Black in both manual and CVT. Its roof is a one-touch electric single pane unit, so it fails this list's test rather than the price test. Honda quotes variant prices by city.
  • Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Volkswagen Taigun. All three fit a sunroof partway up the range and none offers driver assistance on any variant.

How this list was built, and what we could not verify

A model earns a row only if two things line up: the maker's own brochure or variant list names a panoramic sunroof and a Level 2 ADAS suite on the same named variant, and the maker's own price page gives that variant a price. A range that includes both features somewhere is not enough.

Feature fitment came from the Maruti, Hyundai, Nissan, Renault and Mahindra brochures and from the Tata, MG and Kia variant cards. Prices came from Maruti's price feed, Hyundai's Creta price page, MG's Astor and Hector variant cards, Nissan's Tekton variant page, Renault's Duster page and Tata's Harrier and Sierra price pages, all read on 15 October 2026.

Missing: Kia's HTX (A) price, Tata's Curvv Accomplished X+ price, Honda's city-specific Elevate prices, and whether the Sierra Accomplished manual and the Duster iconic manual get adaptive cruise. Mileage is quoted only where the maker's brochure prints it, which rules out Hyundai, Tata and MG. The Hyundai Alcazar, Skoda Kodiaq and Jeep Compass were not checked.

Which one to buy

For the lowest price with the full suite working, the Astor Savvy Pro. For the lowest price with a manual, the Tekton Tekna, as long as you accept that adaptive cruise needs the DCT. For engine choice, the Creta King, the only one of the six you can have as a diesel or a turbo petrol with both features. For a verified crash result and the option of all-wheel drive, the Victoris ZXI+(O) 6AT.

If the roof matters more than the driver assistance, our guide to panoramic sunroof SUVs under Rs 20 lakh covers the cheaper variants these cars sell without ADAS, and SUVs with ADAS under Rs 20 lakh covers the assistance side on its own.

Frequently asked questions

Which mid-size SUV has the cheapest variant with both ADAS and a panoramic sunroof?

The MG Astor Savvy Pro 8CVT at Rs 15,30,100, ahead of the Nissan Tekton Tekna at Rs 15,39,000. Both are well below the Hyundai Creta King at Rs 17,27,800 and the Maruti Victoris ZXI+(O) 6AT at Rs 17,43,000.

Does the Maruti Victoris ZXI+ automatic have a panoramic sunroof?

No. The ZXI+ 6AT at Rs 17,33,900 is the cheapest Victoris with Level 2 ADAS, and Maruti's grid puts the panoramic sunroof only on the (O) versions. The cheapest Victoris with both is the ZXI+(O) 6AT at Rs 17,43,000, Rs 9,100 more.

Can I get ADAS and a panoramic sunroof with a manual gearbox?

Yes, on the Nissan Tekton Tekna, the Renault Duster iconic, the Hyundai Creta King and the Tata Sierra Accomplished. On the Creta and the Tekton the manual loses adaptive cruise control, which both makers restrict to their automatics. The MG Astor Savvy Pro and the Maruti Victoris are automatic only.

Why is the Honda Elevate not on this list?

Its sunroof is a single pane one-touch electric unit, which Honda's brochure lists separately from a panoramic roof. The ZX, ZX+ and ZX+ Black do carry Honda Sensing, so the Elevate qualifies for a general sunroof list but not a panoramic one.

Do the Maruti Grand Vitara or Toyota Hyryder offer ADAS?

No, not on any variant, even though both fit a panoramic sunroof to their option-pack trims. Within Maruti's range the Victoris is the only petrol SUV with a Level 2 suite.

Which of these SUVs has a Bharat NCAP rating?

The Victoris at 31.66 out of 32 and 43 out of 49, the Sierra at 31.14 and 44.73, the Tekton and Duster at 30.49 and 45, and the Harrier and Safari pair at 30.08 and 44.54. The Creta, Astor and Hector do not appear in Bharat NCAP's published vehicle list.
