SUVs With ADAS Under Rs 25 Lakh in India: What Crossing Rs 20 Lakh Adds (2026)
Ten SUVs have a Level 2 ADAS variant priced under Rs 25 lakh on their maker's own price page or brochure price list. Only three of them need more than Rs 20 lakh to reach it: the Mahindra XUV 7XO, the Scorpio N, and the Thar Roxx once you want adaptive cruise with 4x4. The Maruti Victoris is the only Maruti SUV with ADAS, from Rs 17,33,900 on the ZXI+ 6AT, and its AllGrip versions at Rs 18,68,900 and Rs 19,26,900 are the cheapest route to assistance with all-wheel drive. The suite is not offered on the Victoris manual, S-CNG or strong hybrid. Kia, Honda, Hyundai's Alcazar and Tata's Curvv all offer ADAS but do not publish a price for the exact qualifying variant, so none of them is ranked.
If driver assistance is what you are buying, a Rs 25 lakh budget does not get you a better ADAS suite than a Rs 20 lakh one. It gets you a bigger car around the same suite. The cheapest SUVs with Level 2 assistance sit far below both ceilings: the Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 L at Rs 12,02,500, the Hyundai Creta King at Rs 17,27,800, the Maruti Victoris ZXI+ automatic at Rs 17,33,900 and the Tata Harrier Adventure X+ from Rs 17,59,990. What the Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh band adds is four-wheel drive, a third row and a 2.2-litre diesel: the Mahindra Thar Roxx with adaptive cruise and 4x4 from Rs 21,67,000, the Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 Tech petrol automatic at Rs 22,75,999, the Mahindra Scorpio N Z8L petrol automatic at Rs 22,87,186, and the Mahindra BE 6 Three+ at Rs 23,95,000 and XEV 9e Pack Two at Rs 24,90,000 on the electric side.
So the honest answer to "which is the best ADAS SUV under Rs 25 lakh" depends on whether you need the body or just the electronics. If you only want the electronics, you are overspending by Rs 5 lakh or more.
This page is organised around that gap. For the cars that already fit a Rs 20 lakh budget, see our list of SUVs with ADAS under Rs 20 lakh, and for the gearbox conditions attached to adaptive cruise specifically, SUVs with adaptive cruise control under Rs 20 lakh.

Prices are ex-showroom and were read from each manufacturer's own price page or brochure price list in October 2026. Maruti Victoris figures are single-tone; dual-tone paint adds Rs 15,400 on the ZXI and above. The MG Hector figures come from the price list in MG's brochure, dated 1 July 2026; MG's website showed Rs 19,64,800 and Rs 20,14,800 for the same two variants on 13 October 2026. Bharat NCAP scores and applicability are from bncap.in.
The three things the extra budget really buys
Four-wheel drive with adaptive cruise
Two cars pair the full assistance suite with a driven rear axle. The Maruti Victoris does it cheapest, and does it below Rs 20 lakh: the ZXI+ AT 4W with AllGrip Select is Rs 18,68,900 and the ZXI+ (O) AT 4W is Rs 19,26,900, both carrying the same Level 2 pack as the two-wheel-drive car.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is the one that needs the bigger budget. Its AX3L diesel manual at Rs 17,40,000 has autonomous emergency braking and lane keep assist but no adaptive cruise, because Mahindra's grid marks adaptive cruise control with stop and go for AT variants. The cheapest Roxx with both adaptive cruise and 4x4 is Rs 21,67,000. If you want the proper off-road hardware rather than AllGrip's on-road traction modes, that is Rs 2,98,100 more than the Victoris ZXI+ AT 4W.
A third row
Nothing under Rs 20 lakh gives you seven seats and Level 2 assistance together, apart from the seven-seat MG Hector Savvy Pro, which MG's brochure price list puts at Rs 19,99,800 and MG's website at Rs 20,14,800, so it lands on the line.
Above it, the Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 Tech petrol automatic at Rs 22,75,999 and the Mahindra Scorpio N Z8L petrol automatic at Rs 22,87,186 are the two that clear the cap comfortably. Both put adaptive cruise on automatics only. The Scorpio N is the only body-on-frame seven-seater here with the suite, which is a real difference if you tow or drive broken roads, and a real penalty in ride comfort if you do not.
A bigger diesel
The Tata Harrier and Tata Safari are the diesel answer, and they are also the clearest example of ADAS being sold in tiers rather than as one feature. Tata's 2026 brochure puts "ADAS with Adaptive Cruise Control" on the Adventure X+, with the footnote that adaptive cruise is in AT only, then adds lane keep assist at the Fearless X+ on the Harrier and the Accomplished X+ on the Safari, then intelligent speed assist at the Fearless Ultra and Accomplished Ultra. Three badges, three prices, one word on the spec sheet.
Tata's price page showed the Harrier Adventure X+ from Rs 17,59,990, which is the manual, so the automatic that actually has adaptive cruise costs more than that. We could not read the automatic's figure, so it is not in the table as a verified price.
Where the Maruti sits
The Victoris is the only Maruti SUV with Level 2 ADAS, and within a Rs 25 lakh budget it is the cheapest route to the combination of a full assistance suite, all-wheel drive and a 5-star Bharat NCAP result. Its adult score of 31.66 out of 32 is the highest of any car in the table, and the rating list covers the petrol manual, the petrol 6AT including both AllGrip variants, and the strong hybrid.
The constraint is severe and worth stating plainly. Maruti's feature grid marks every ADAS row "6AT" in the ZXI+ and ZXI+ (O) column and leaves it blank everywhere else. That rules out the ZXI+ manual at Rs 15,38,900, every S-CNG variant, and the strong hybrid, including the Rs 19,98,900 ZXI+ (O) Strong Hybrid at the top of the range. Buy the Victoris for its claimed 28.65 km/l hybrid and you get ordinary cruise control. Buy it for the assistance and you get the 1.5-litre petrol automatic at a claimed 21.06 km/l, or 19.07 km/l with AllGrip.
The Maruti Grand Vitara, Brezza and Fronx offer no ADAS on any variant, so there is no second Maruti here.
Electric SUVs in the same band
Electric is where the Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh band changes the answer most. The Maruti e Vitara Alpha at Rs 19,99,000 brings Level 2 assistance with blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert, seven airbags and a 31.49 out of 32 Bharat NCAP adult score. The Tata Curvv.ev Empowered X 55 at Rs 19,39,000 and the MG ZS EV Essence at Rs 20,75,000 sit either side of it, and the Hyundai Creta Electric Excellence is Rs 21,31,000.
Push to the top of this budget and you reach the Mahindra pair: the BE 6 Three+ with the 70 kWh battery at Rs 23,95,000 and the XEV 9e Pack Two at Rs 24,90,000. Both add one radar and one camera for adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, lane centering, emergency braking, traffic sign recognition and high beam assist. Neither gets blind spot detection at this price. That needs the BE 6 Four at Rs 26,95,000 or the XEV 9e Pack Three, which is above this cap.
How this list was built
A car qualifies if its manufacturer's current brochure lists a Level 2 assistance suite on a named variant, and that variant's price appears on the manufacturer's own price page or in the brochure's price list at or below Rs 25 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom as each maker publishes them, and Mahindra, Hyundai and Maruti all note that the price prevailing on the date of invoice applies.
What we could not verify. Kia's 2026 Seltos brochure puts a Level 2 pack with 21 functions on the HTX (A) and GTX (A), rising to 28 functions on the GTX (O), but Kia's site publishes only Rs 11,24,900 for the HTE and Rs 21,56,900 for the X-Line (O), with no variant list in between, so we cannot price the qualifying trim. Honda fits Honda Sensing to the Elevate ZX, ZX+ and ZX+ Black in both manual and CVT form and quotes prices by city beyond a Rs 11,80,000 starting figure. Tata's price page shows the Curvv Accomplished X at Rs 13,99,990 but not the Accomplished X+ that carries the suite, and Hyundai's Alcazar brochure marks forward collision avoidance, blind spot collision avoidance and lane keeping from the Platinum column while Hyundai's own Alcazar page attributes the SmartSense suite to the Signature variants, a discrepancy we could not settle. MG's Astor, which appears in older lists, no longer has a model page on MG's India site. All of those cars offer Level 2 assistance. None of them is in the ranked table, because we could not put a manufacturer price against the exact variant.
Bharat NCAP has published no result for the Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra Scorpio N or any MG model. That is not a failed test, it is an absent one.
Frequently asked questions
Is there any SUV where ADAS only becomes available above Rs 20 lakh?
Yes, three. The Mahindra XUV 7XO starts its ADAS range at Rs 22,75,999 and the Scorpio N at Rs 22,87,186, and the Mahindra Thar Roxx needs Rs 21,67,000 before adaptive cruise and 4x4 appear on the same car. Everything else in the table has a qualifying variant below Rs 20 lakh.
Which Maruti SUV has ADAS under Rs 25 lakh?
Only the Victoris, and only as a ZXI+ or ZXI+ (O) 6-speed automatic, from Rs 17,33,900. Four variants qualify, two of them with AllGrip all-wheel drive. The Grand Vitara, Brezza and Fronx list no ADAS at any price.
Can I get ADAS with a manual gearbox under Rs 25 lakh?
Yes, but you lose adaptive cruise on most of them. The Hyundai Creta King 1.5 petrol manual at Rs 17,27,800 has lane keeping, blind spot collision avoidance and forward collision avoidance, with smart cruise control restricted to the IVT, AT and DCT. The Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 L manual and the Thar Roxx AX3L are in the same position. Honda's Elevate is the exception: its brochure lists adaptive cruise control on the ZX manual, without the low speed follow function.
Does a higher budget buy a better assistance suite?
Only on the Tata twins and the Kia Seltos. Tata layers lane keep assist and then intelligent speed assist above its entry ADAS trim, and Kia moves from 21 functions to 28 on the GTX (O). On the Maruti Victoris, Mahindra XUV 3XO, MG Hector and Renault Duster, the suite on the cheapest qualifying variant is the same one the range-topper gets.
Which of these has the best crash rating?
The Maruti Victoris, at 31.66 out of 32 for adults and 43 out of 49 for children, with the rating covering every petrol and hybrid variant including the ADAS automatics. The Tata Sierra is next at 31.14, then the Mahindra Thar Roxx at 31.09. The Kia Seltos scores higher still, at 31.70 out of 32, but its ADAS variant price is not published.
Why is the MG Astor not here?
MG's India site returned no model page for the Astor when we checked on 15 October 2026, so we could not read a current price list or feature grid for it. The MG models we could source are the Hector, the ZS EV and the Windsor EV.
