Best SUVs With a Sunroof, ADAS and AWD Together in India (2026)
All-wheel drive sits on a separate branch of most ranges from the sunroof and the ADAS pack, so the three features meet on very few variants. The Maruti Victoris AllGrip ZXI+(O) at Rs 19,26,900 is the only one under Rs 20 lakh and the only petrol option; its plain AllGrip ZXI+ sibling at Rs 18,68,900 has the suite and the drivetrain but no roof. On the Thar Roxx the cheapest 4x4 with the full suite has a single pane roof, and the Skyroof version costs Rs 45,000 more. The Mahindra Scorpio N and Thar Roxx manuals lose adaptive cruise control, which both restrict to automatics.
Four SUVs on sale in India put a sunroof, a Level 2 ADAS suite and all-wheel drive on the same variant at a price their maker publishes. The Maruti Victoris AllGrip ZXI+(O) is the cheapest at Rs 19,26,900, and the next one costs Rs 2.40 lakh more: the Mahindra Thar Roxx AX5L diesel automatic 4x4 at Rs 21,67,000, then the Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 TECH diesel AWD automatic at Rs 23,99,000 and the Mahindra Scorpio N Z8L diesel 4WD manual at Rs 24,25,145.
The combination is rare for a structural reason. Carmakers sell all-wheel drive as a separate branch of the range, usually diesel and usually near the top, and they sell the panoramic roof and the driver assistance suite as separate option packs on the two-wheel-drive ladder. Those branches meet on very few variants. On the Victoris the meeting point is a single variant code; on the Thar Roxx the cheapest 4x4 with the full assistance suite has only a single pane roof, and the panoramic one costs another Rs 45,000.
Every variant that has all three, and what it costs
| SUV | Cheapest variant with all three | Price (ex-showroom) | Sunroof | Drive system | Seats | Adaptive cruise on that variant |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Maruti Victoris | AllGrip ZXI+(O) 4WD 6AT | Rs 19,26,900 | Panoramic | AllGrip Select, four terrain modes | 5 | Yes |
| Mahindra Thar Roxx | AX5L diesel AT 4x4 | Rs 21,67,000 | Single pane | 4x4 with 4XPLOR terrain modes | 5 | Yes |
| Mahindra XUV 7XO | AX7 TECH 2.2 diesel AWD AT | Rs 23,99,000 | Skyroof | AWD | 6 or 7 | Yes |
| Mahindra Scorpio N | Z8L 2.2 diesel 4WD manual | Rs 24,25,145 | Skyroof | Selectable shift-on-fly 4WD | 6 or 7 | No, automatic only |
Prices are ex-showroom and were read from Maruti's price feed and Mahindra's own variant cards on 15 October 2026. The Maruti figure is the Delhi single-tone price; dual-tone paint adds Rs 15,400 and takes the AllGrip ZXI+(O) to Rs 19,42,300. Mahindra notes that the price applicable on the day of invoice is the one you pay.
If the roof has to be panoramic
Mahindra's own grid separates "Sunroof Single Pane" from "Sunroof Panoramic (Skyroof)", so Skyroof is the company's word for the big one. On the Thar Roxx the single pane roof is on the MX5 and AX5L and the Skyroof on the STAR EDN and AX7L, and of those four only the AX5L and AX7L carry the ADAS suite. That changes the ranking.
| SUV | Cheapest variant with a panoramic roof, ADAS and all-wheel drive | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Maruti Victoris | AllGrip ZXI+(O) 4WD 6AT | Rs 19,26,900 |
| Mahindra Thar Roxx | AX7L diesel manual 4x4 | Rs 22,12,000 |
| Mahindra XUV 7XO | AX7 TECH 2.2 diesel AWD AT | Rs 23,99,000 |
| Mahindra Scorpio N | Z8L 2.2 diesel 4WD manual | Rs 24,25,145 |
The Thar Roxx AX7L manual loses adaptive cruise control, which Mahindra marks "AT variants" for that trim. The automatic that restores it is Rs 23,52,500. The Scorpio N manual is in the same position, with its Z8L diesel 4WD automatic at Rs 25,49,000.
1. Maruti Victoris AllGrip ZXI+(O), Rs 19,26,900
The only SUV here under Rs 20 lakh with all three, and the only petrol one.
Maruti's feature grid does the work. Every ADAS row, adaptive cruise control with all speed following, lane keep assist, lane departure prevention and warning, blind spot monitor, lane change alert, high beam assist and collision emergency braking for cars and motorcycles, is marked "6AT" in the ZXI+ column. The panoramic sunroof row is marked "(O)". The terrain mode and hill descent rows are marked "ALLGRIP" in the same column, and AllGrip is sold only as a 6AT. The variant where all three conditions hold is the AllGrip ZXI+(O) 4WD.
The plain AllGrip ZXI+ 4WD at Rs 18,68,900 has the assistance suite and the all-wheel drive but no sunroof, so the roof costs Rs 58,000 on this branch of the range rather than the Rs 9,100 it costs on the two-wheel-drive ZXI+.
AllGrip Select gives four modes, Auto, Sport, Snow and Lock, plus hill descent control. The 1.5-litre K15C petrol makes 75.8 kW (103.06 PS) and 139 Nm, and Maruti's claimed figure drops to 19.07 km/l with AllGrip against 21.06 km/l for the two-wheel-drive automatic. The Victoris holds a Bharat NCAP result of 31.66 out of 32 for adults and 43 out of 49 for children, covering the petrol and hybrid variants but not the S-CNG.
The limits are worth stating plainly. It is a five seater, the 103 PS petrol is the least powerful engine on this page by a wide margin, there is no low-range transfer case, and the strong hybrid that would make a touring family car cannot be had with ADAS or with AllGrip.
2. Mahindra Thar Roxx AX5L diesel AT 4x4, Rs 21,67,000
The cheapest body-on-frame option, and the one with the most capable hardware for the money: 4XPLOR with selectable terrain modes, an electric locking differential, CrawlSmart and IntelliTurn, all listed as diesel 4x4 items on Mahindra's grid.
The ADAS suite on the AX5L is complete, including adaptive cruise control with stop and go, autonomous emergency braking for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition and high beam assist. The catch is the roof: Mahindra's grid ticks "Sunroof Single Pane" for the AX5L and reserves the Skyroof for the AX7L. For the panoramic roof with 4x4 you need the AX7L diesel manual at Rs 22,12,000, which has the suite but not the adaptive cruise, or the AX7L diesel automatic at Rs 23,52,500, which has everything.
The Thar Roxx has the best child result on this page, 45 out of 49, alongside 31.09 out of 32 for adults at Bharat NCAP. It is also a five seater with a high floor and a thirst that no one buys it to avoid.
3. Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 TECH diesel AWD, Rs 23,99,000
The only three-row SUV here with all three features and a published crash result. The Skyroof arrives early in the range, on the AX5, and Level 2 ADAS with Sense+ waits for the AX7 TECH, where Mahindra also notes "Adaptive Cruise Control (AT Only)". Since AWD on the XUV 7XO is an automatic diesel, the Rs 23,99,000 car has the full suite working.
It measures 4,695 x 1,890 x 1,755 mm with roof rails on a 2,750 mm wheelbase and seats six or seven. The 2.2 CRDe diesel makes 136 kW (184.9 PS) with 450 Nm in automatic form. Bharat NCAP scores it 30.76 out of 32 and 44.97 out of 49. The AX7 LUXURY diesel AWD, which adds ventilated rear seats, a retractable rear sunblind and multi-zone ambient lighting, is Rs 25,79,000.
4. Mahindra Scorpio N Z8L diesel 4WD, Rs 24,25,145
The most mechanically serious of the four, with a ladder frame, selectable shift-on-fly 4WD, 4XPLOR terrain modes and an electric locking differential on the diesel 4WD.
Mahindra's grid is strict about where the equipment lives. The Level 2 ADAS block is ticked for the Z8L column alone, and the Skyroof is listed for the Z8L alone; the Z6, Z8S, Z8 and Z8T below it get an ordinary sunroof and no assistance. Adaptive cruise control with stop and go, Smart Pilot Assist, speed limit assist and front vehicle start alert are all marked "AT variant only", so the Rs 24,25,145 manual has emergency braking, lane keeping, traffic sign recognition and high beam assist without the adaptive cruise. The diesel 4WD automatic at Rs 25,49,000 is the complete car.
The 2.2 mHawk diesel makes 128.6 kW (174.8 PS) and 400 Nm with the automatic. The Scorpio N does not appear in Bharat NCAP's published vehicle list, so there is no Indian crash score for it.
Offered, but we could not price the qualifying variant
- Hyundai Tucson. Hyundai sells it with a panoramic sunroof, SmartSense and all-wheel drive on the diesel. Its price page returned an error page on 15 October 2026, and Hyundai publishes no variant table for it elsewhere, so it is not ranked. It has been tested: Bharat NCAP scores the petrol Tucson 30.84 out of 32 for adults and 41 out of 49 for children, the weakest child result of any car mentioned on this page.
- Skoda Kodiaq. Skoda's own page puts ADAS on the Sportline and Selection L&K, both 4x4 seven seaters with a panoramic roof, and prices the range "from Rs 36,99,000" without listing those two variants separately.
- Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line. Volkswagen's page describes 4MOTION all-wheel drive, 21 Level 2 ADAS features, nine airbags and a panoramic sunroof on the single variant it sells here, and shows no price.
- MG Majestor. A 4WD SUV with Level 2 ADAS, listed from Rs 43,49,000. MG's page for it does not mention a sunroof, so we cannot confirm the third feature.
Two out of three, which is where most SUVs land
| SUV | Sunroof | Level 2 ADAS | All-wheel drive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maruti Grand Vitara | Yes, panoramic on (O) variants | No, cruise control only | Yes, AllGrip on Alpha |
| Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder | Yes, panoramic on (O) and V | No | Yes, AWD |
| Maruti Jimny | No | No | Yes, AllGrip Pro with low range |
| Maruti e Vitara | Fixed glass, does not open | Yes | No |
| Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier and Sierra, MG Astor and Hector, Nissan Tekton, Renault Duster | Yes, panoramic | Yes | No |
The Grand Vitara is the near miss that matters most to Maruti buyers. It has the panoramic roof on its (O) variants and AllGrip Select on the Alpha, and no driver assistance anywhere in the range, which is why the Victoris and not the Grand Vitara is the car on this list.
How this list was built, and what we could not verify
A variant qualifies only if the maker's own brochure or variant grid shows a sunroof, a Level 2 ADAS suite and an all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive system against that one variant, and the maker's own price page prices it.
Feature fitment came from the Maruti Victoris brochure grid and the Mahindra Thar Roxx, Scorpio N and XUV 7XO brochures, read page by page because their grids are images rather than text. Prices came from Maruti's ex-showroom price feed and Mahindra's variant cards. Crash scores came from bncap.in.
What is not settled: Hyundai's Tucson variant prices, Skoda's Kodiaq Sportline price, Volkswagen's Tiguan price, whether the MG Majestor has a sunroof, and which of the two Scorpio N Z8L diesel 4WD manual prices Mahindra lists covers the six seat layout and which the seven. Electric SUVs with dual-motor all-wheel drive are a separate question and are not covered here. The Jeep Compass, Jeep Meridian, Toyota Fortuner and Isuzu MU-X were not checked, so their absence says nothing about them. Mileage is quoted only where the maker's brochure prints it.
Which one to buy
If the budget stops near Rs 20 lakh, there is one answer and it is the Maruti Victoris AllGrip ZXI+(O) at Rs 19,26,900. Nothing else comes close, and it is the only petrol car with the full set.
If you actually drive off tarmac, the Thar Roxx AX5L diesel automatic 4x4 at Rs 21,67,000 brings locking differentials and terrain modes the Victoris does not have, at the cost of a single pane roof. Pay Rs 1,85,500 more for the AX7L automatic if the big glass matters.
If you need six or seven seats, the XUV 7XO AX7 TECH diesel AWD at Rs 23,99,000 is the one with a published crash result and working adaptive cruise. The Scorpio N Z8L 4WD is the choice if a ladder frame matters more than a crash score, and you should take the automatic at Rs 25,49,000 rather than the manual if you want the complete assistance suite.
For the same features without all-wheel drive, see our guides to SUVs with ADAS under Rs 20 lakh and panoramic sunroof SUVs under Rs 20 lakh, and for the drivetrain side on its own, genuine 4x4 SUVs under Rs 25 lakh.
Frequently asked questions
Which is the cheapest SUV with a sunroof, ADAS and all-wheel drive together?
The Maruti Victoris AllGrip ZXI+(O) 4WD at Rs 19,26,900, ex-showroom single tone. It is the only one under Rs 20 lakh and the only one with a petrol engine. The next is the Mahindra Thar Roxx AX5L diesel automatic 4x4 at Rs 21,67,000.
Does the Maruti Victoris AllGrip ZXI+ have a sunroof?
No. The plain AllGrip ZXI+ 4WD at Rs 18,68,900 has the ADAS suite and all-wheel drive with a metal roof, because Maruti fits the panoramic sunroof only to the (O) option-pack variants. The AllGrip ZXI+(O) at Rs 19,26,900 is the one with all three.
Does the Mahindra Thar Roxx have ADAS?
Yes. Mahindra's grid puts a Level 2 suite on the AX3L, AX5L and AX7L, including autonomous emergency braking for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition and high beam assist. Adaptive cruise control with stop and go is ticked for the AX5L and marked "AT variants" for the AX7L.
Do the Maruti Grand Vitara or Toyota Hyryder qualify?
No. Both offer a panoramic sunroof on their option-pack variants and all-wheel drive on their higher trims, and neither offers a driver assistance suite on any variant.
Can I get all three features with a manual gearbox?
Only on the two Mahindras, and only without adaptive cruise control. The Thar Roxx AX7L diesel manual 4x4 is Rs 22,12,000 and the Scorpio N Z8L diesel 4WD manual Rs 24,25,145; both makers restrict adaptive cruise to their automatics. The Victoris AllGrip is sold only as a 6-speed automatic.
Which of these has the best crash rating?
It depends on who is sitting where. The Maruti Victoris has the highest adult score at 31.66 out of 32, with 43 out of 49 for children. The Mahindra Thar Roxx scores 31.09 for adults and the best child result of the group at 45 out of 49, and the XUV 7XO manages 30.76 and 44.97. The Scorpio N has no Bharat NCAP result.
