9 MPVs With a 360-Degree Camera in India, and the Variant Where Each Starts

9 MPVs With a 360-Degree Camera in India, and the Variant Where Each Starts

On most MPVs the 360-degree camera is tied to upper variants. The XL6 has it on the Alpha and Alpha Plus but not the Zeta or the CNG. The Invicto has it on one variant of three, and its Zeta Plus has a rear camera with no parking sensors listed. The Carens Clavis HTX with the camera is diesel manual only. The BYD eMAX 7, Kia Carnival, MG M9 and Toyota Vellfire fit it across the range, and no CNG MPV offers it.

Nine MPVs sold in India list a factory 360-degree camera, and on most of them it is tied to the upper variants. The cheapest is the Maruti Suzuki XL6 Alpha at Rs 12,58,800 ex-showroom. The Kia Carens Clavis has it from the HTX, the Toyota Innova Hycross from the GX(O), and the Maruti Suzuki Invicto only on the Alpha Plus at Rs 28,70,500. Four have it on everything they sell: the BYD eMAX 7 (from Rs 27.90 lakh), Kia Carnival (Rs 59.65 lakh), MG M9 (Rs 79.94 lakh) and Toyota Vellfire.

So the useful question is not which MPV has the camera but which variant. On a car that is roughly 4.5 to 5.2 metres long with a third row blocking the rear view, picking one trim too low means reversing on a single rear camera, or on the Invicto Zeta Plus, on a rear camera with no parking sensors at all.

Key takeaways

  • XL6: the Alpha and Alpha Plus have the 360 view camera, in manual and automatic. The Zeta, Zeta AT and Zeta CNG have a rear camera.
  • Invicto: one variant of three. The Zeta Plus 7-seater and 8-seater get a rear view camera and, per the brochure, neither front nor reverse parking sensors.
  • Carens Clavis: HTX and above. According to Kia's powertrain grid the HTX is diesel manual only, so the cheapest petrol with the camera is the HTX (O) DCT.
  • Innova Hycross: the Panoramic View Monitor starts at the petrol GX(O), so you do not need the hybrid.
  • No CNG MPV has a 360-degree camera. The Ertiga and Rumion do not offer one on any variant.

Prices are ex-showroom from each maker's own site, checked on 13 October 2026. Feature availability is from the manufacturer brochures, except the eMAX 7, whose variant grid is on BYD's India site. Toyota publishes no ex-showroom prices online, and Kia's site gave us only starting and top prices for the Clavis and Clavis EV.

Maruti Suzuki XL6

The cheapest MPV with the feature, and the only one under Rs 15 lakh. In the NEXA brochure's feature grid the "360 view camera" row is a dash for the Zeta column and a tick for the Alpha and Alpha Plus columns. The "rear camera" row is the reverse: a tick for the Zeta and a dash for the other two. Reverse parking sensors are standard on all of them.

The four camera variants and their NEXA prices:

XL6 variantPrice (ex-showroom)
Alpha MTRs 12,58,800
Alpha Plus MT (dual tone)Rs 13,32,500
Alpha ATRs 13,93,800
Alpha Plus AT (dual tone)Rs 14,67,500

The Alpha also brings tyre pressure monitoring, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on the SmartPlay Pro screen and auto headlamps, so the Rs 96,500 step from the Zeta manual buys more than a camera. Every XL6 is a six-seater with captain seats and six airbags.

The limits: the Zeta CNG cannot be had with the 360 view, the brochure lists no front parking sensors on any variant, and there is no ADAS. The engine is the 1.5-litre K15C with 103.06 PS and 139 Nm, at a certified 20.90 km/l manual and 20.27 km/l automatic.

Kia Carens Clavis

Kia's brochure builds each trim on the one below, and "360 degree camera with blind view monitor on cluster" first appears at the HTX. The blind view monitor shows a side camera feed in the instrument cluster when you indicate. Everything above the HTX inherits it: HTX (O), GTX, HTX+, GTX+ and X-Line. The HTE, HTE (O), HTE (EX), HTK+ and HTK+ (O) have a rear view camera at most.

The catch is in the powertrain grid. It shows the HTX with the 1.5 diesel and 6-speed manual only, and the trims above it with the 160 PS turbo-petrol. So:

  • Diesel with the camera: HTX 6MT only. The diesel automatic stops at the HTK+ and does not get it.
  • Turbo-petrol with the camera: HTX (O), GTX, GTX+ and X-Line with the 7-speed DCT, and the HTX+ with DCT, iMT or manual.
  • CNG and the 1.5 naturally aspirated petrol: no camera on any trim.

Level 2 ADAS with 20 functions is listed for the HTX+ DCT and carried into the GTX+ and X-Line. Front parking sensors arrive at the HTK+, and all Clavis variants have rear sensors, six airbags and four disc brakes.

Kia's site states the top GTX+ at Rs 21,78,900 and the range start at Rs 11,38,900. It does not list the HTX price in a form we could read, so we are not quoting an entry price for the camera. Kia's brochure also prints no fuel efficiency figures.

Kia Carens Clavis EV

The same camera and blind view monitor, bundled with Level 2 ADAS. The brochure introduces both at the HTX (42 kWh), and they pass to the HTX ER, GTX ER, HTX+ ER, GTX+ ER and X-Line ER (51.4 kWh).

Three variants miss out, and one of them is easy to get wrong. The HTK+ and HTX E do not have the camera. Neither does the HTX E ER, because Kia lists it as the HTX E plus the bigger battery, not as an HTX. If you want the extended range and the camera, the HTX ER is the lowest variant that has both.

The 42 kWh car makes 99 kW (135 PS) and is rated at 404 km. The 51.4 kWh car makes 126 kW (171 PS) and is rated at 490 km, both on the MIDC cycle. Kia's site gives a starting price of Rs 18,03,900 for the range, which is the HTK+ without the camera.

Toyota Innova Hycross

Toyota calls it the Panoramic View Monitor with dynamic back guide. The brochure's grade table marks it X for the G-SLF and GX and ticks it for the GX(O), VX, VX(O), ZX and ZX(O).

The GX(O) is the interesting one because it is the 2.0 petrol with a CVT, not the hybrid. Toyota quotes 16.13 km/l for the petrol and 22.16 km/l for the hybrid, which starts at the VX. The GX(O) also has front and reverse parking sensors, where the GX has none listed and the G-SLF has reverse only. Toyota Safety Sense, with radar cruise control, lane trace assist, blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert, is on the ZX(O) alone. Six airbags are standard on all grades.

Toyota does not publish ex-showroom prices, so we cannot place the GX(O) in the price order with a manufacturer figure. Ask the dealer for the GX(O) and VX quotes together.

BYD eMAX 7

One of the four with the camera on every variant. BYD's specification grid ticks "360° view monitor" and rear radars for both the Comfort and the Superior.

eMAX 7 variantPrice (ex-showroom)
Comfort 6-seaterRs 27,90,000
Comfort 7-seaterRs 28,30,000
Superior 6-seaterRs 29,30,000
Superior 7-seaterRs 29,90,000

Both have a 71.8 kWh battery. The Comfort makes 120 kW (163 PS) with a quoted 485 km on the MIDC cycle, and the Superior makes 150 kW (204 PS) with 530 km on the NEDC cycle. The driver assistance functions (adaptive cruise, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert and brake) are Superior only. The draft we worked from listed a cheaper Premium variant, which is not on BYD's site now.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto

The Invicto is the one where the trim gap matters most. Maruti's brochure gives the Alpha Plus a "360 view camera with dynamic guide lines", front parking sensors, reverse parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring and an auto-dimming mirror. For the Zeta Plus every one of those rows is a dash. It has a rear view camera and a manual day/night mirror.

That makes the Zeta Plus, at Rs 25,02,400 for the 7-seater and Rs 25,37,300 for the 8-seater, a 4,755 mm MPV with no parking sensors listed. The Alpha Plus 7-seater is Rs 28,70,500, a gap of Rs 3,68,100 over the Zeta Plus 7-seater. The money also buys the panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, powered tailgate, memory driver seat and the larger 25.65 cm touchscreen, so it is not all camera. There is no eight-seat Alpha Plus.

The mechanicals are identical across the range: a 1,987 cc strong hybrid with a total system output of 139 kW (188.9 PS), an e-CVT and a certified 22.16 km/l. The Invicto has no ADAS on any variant. Its Toyota sibling offers ADAS on the ZX(O) and fits the camera from the GX(O).

Kia Carnival

Sold as a single Limousine Plus variant at Rs 59,64,900, so there is nothing to choose. The brochure lists a 360-degree camera and blind view monitor together with front, rear and side parking sensors, which is the most complete parking setup here and sensible on a car 5,155 mm long. It has 8 airbags, Level 2 ADAS with 23 functions, a 2.2-litre diesel with 142 kW (193 PS) and an 8-speed automatic. Seating is 7 in a 2+2+3 layout. Kia's brochure does not print a fuel efficiency figure.

MG M9 and Toyota Vellfire

Both are chauffeur cars first, and both include the camera as standard.

The MG M9 brochure lists a 360-degree camera for the Presidential Limo, with 7 airbags, Level 2 ADAS, a 90 kWh battery, 245 PS and a 548 km MIDC range. MG's site shows Rs 79.94 lakh ex-showroom.

The Toyota Vellfire comes in Hi and VIP Executive Lounge grades. Its feature list includes the Panoramic View Monitor with six airbags, adaptive cruise control, lane trace assist and a blind spot monitor, and the footnotes do not restrict any of those to the VIP grade. The 2.5-litre hybrid makes 142 kW (193 PS). Toyota publishes no price.

For the back-seat case for these three, see the chauffeur-driven MPV guide.

MPVs that do not offer one

  • Maruti Suzuki Ertiga (Rs 8.90 lakh to Rs 13.14 lakh): Maruti's Arena page lists no 360 view camera on any of its nine variants.
  • Toyota Rumion: the brochure lists a rear parking camera on the G and V grades only, and no 360 view.
  • Renault Triber: Renault's brochure does not mention one.
  • Every CNG MPV, including the XL6 Zeta CNG and the Carens Clavis CNG.

If you are open to an SUV instead, the SUVs with a 360-degree camera list starts lower, at about Rs 10 lakh.

How this list was built

For each MPV we read the manufacturer's brochure and recorded the lowest variant on which a 360-degree or surround camera appears. The XL6 and Invicto grids were read from the brochure pages directly. BYD's brochure has no variant table, so the eMAX 7 comes from the specification grid on BYD's India site. Prices are from the makers' own sites on 13 October 2026.

Not verified: variant prices for the Carens Clavis and Clavis EV, any price for the Innova Hycross or Vellfire, and fuel efficiency for the Kia models, none of which the makers publish in a form we could read. We did not test camera resolution, stitching quality or low-light performance, so this is a list of where the feature is fitted, not a ranking of how good each system is. The MG M9 Couture Edition named in some listings is not in the brochure we read.
